November 10, 2019 - Sunday evening
19 degrees/cloudy/breezy
Pentoga Road

It's been a lazy day on Pentoga Road. With thick clouds and falling temperatures, we were happy to stay inside by the wood stove.

I sat at the dining room table for much of the morning working on the chipmunk piece. The music was playing softly in the background and a cup of coffee was close at hand. Simply put, it was pure early morning bliss.

Sargie and I took a short jaunt around the countryside after getting her Coke. One of our favorite roads runs past an alpaca farm.

Andy's on his way back to Africa and took the following picture while flying over MetLife Stadium in Rutherford, New Jersey on his way to LaGuardia Airport. The Jets and the Giants game was underway at the time.

I may have closed my eyes once or twice during the day. This time of the year, I can doze off any time of the day at a moment's notice.

We've been watching the Green Bay/Carolina game this afternoon and evening.

Green Bay won and has eight wins with two loses for the year.

Sargie is off Monday and I'll be back at Florence Elementary as the kindergarten cop. After, my next day of subbing is Thursday when I'll be the librarian. We'll leave for Mom's in Indiana after Sargie and I get off work Thursday afternoon.

Meanwhile, it's time to settle in for the evening and relax before bedtime.

After all, a man's work is never done.

So are the tales from Pentoga Road...

It was a close game causing me to throw my "dammit doll" several times.
