Pentoga Road
It's been a lazy day on Pentoga Road. After the long drive on Sunday, we were content to exist on the less active side of life.
I began the day by putting the new wheel cover on the Kia. A collision with a deer last Tuesday found the old one in a million pieces. Made from cheap, light, plastic, installing the thing required that I remove the lug nuts.
It's not like the old days where a hub cap simply snapped onto the rim from the outside.
The rest of the morning was spent in the shop. One of the first things accomplished was to sort and label all of the hobby paints in the new cabinet.
The rest of the day was a combination of pure laziness and gluttony. Sargie and I took a ride into town to get the ingredients for seafood Alfredo.
Back home, Sargie worked her wonderful kitchen magic and made a huge pot of delicious noodles, crab, and shrimp, all covered in Alfredo sauce.
We ate like the piggies we know how to be.
I crashed soon after and took a long afternoon nap. Honestly, I haven't moved far from the couch since.
Sargie works at the eye clinic on Tuesday. I'll be at the elementary school in Florence.
It's time to get this uploaded and think about heading upstairs to bed. Morning will come bright and early.
After all, a man's work is never done.
So are the tales from Pentoga Road...
