33 degrees/cloudy/calm winds
Pentoga Road

Not much of an entry today. I was the librarian on Tuesday with nothing unusual happening. One class was a bit rowdy, but after putting on my Mr. P face and growling a bit, they shaped up.

Must have been the phase of the moon, eh?

I'm back for my last day of subbing (hopefully) for a week or two today in one of the two third grade rooms. It's a big class and they tend to be a bit "active", so no doubt, it'll be a tired Mr. P who walks in the door tonight.

That's okay. Tomorrow at this time, I'll be sitting here fat and sassy, grateful to once again be retired, answering emails and writing a more substantial blog.

Mom's back in the hospital. Seems she is losing blood somewhere as her hemoglobin count dipped under 7.0. The doctors would like to find out if there's a leak somewhere, so she'll be undergoing a few tests. Mom said she shouldn't be in for more than two or three days.

It's time to get in the mighty Kia and head to Florence. I promised the third graders that if they were good today and worked hard, I'd get out the banjo and we'd sing a song or two at day's end.

Guess I ought to get it tuned as I KNOW they'll be good... won't they?

After all, a man's work is never done.

So are the tales from Pentoga Road...
