Shrimp/Portabella mushroom omelet garnished with bacon
March 11, 2019 - Monday morning
14 degrees/clear skies/calm winds
Pentoga Road

This is one of those speed blogs as I need to leave for Florence in exactly ten minutes. The fingers are flying, the mistakes being made. I don't do nearly as well under pressure as I once did.

Yes, indeed, we had huge shrimp/mushroom omelets Sunday morning. Good? One of the best brunch combo that Sargie and I have yet to concoct.

Thankfully, the snowstorm that was to drop several inches of white stuff failed to materialize. We ended up with a paltry one to two inches that was quickly plowed out of the way.

The afternoon brought our usual ride. We added several area buildings to our first annual icicle compilation.

Snow on the roof, anyone?
Unfortunately, one of the area's casualties of this winter's heavy snowfall was Neighbor Sue who lost a large Quonset building. Why do bad things happen to good people?

So the day went. I spent most the afternoon working on a material/cost list for the construction of the new garden shed. Other than money, material, and good weather, I'm ready to build.

Aunt Joanne and I spent precious moments together getting her new Chromebook set up. Most of the time, I was operating her machine remotely from the UP. Ain't technology fun?!

Sargie opens the Vision Center today. I sub in the fifth grade. Looks to be a busy one.

OK, today's entry was written in under ten minutes. Pardon the mistakes, but education waits for no one.

After all, a man's job is never done.

So are the tales from Pentoga Road...

Barber Sargie also gave me a haircut
