You talkin' to me?
August 4, 2018 - Saturday evening
70 degrees/cloudy skies/breezy
Pentoga Road

I've never seen deer as plentiful or brave as those I've encountered in the past few days. The one above remained unmoving as I walked past early this morning. I thought about reaching out to scratch her ears, but resisted the temptation.

I've found a lot of treasures alongside the road in all the years I've been walking. Today's find was a Rattle Trap, a fishing lure.

Once home, I tackled a ten pound tube of hamburger, slicing it into pieces and packaging three burgers per package.

The packages are placed in freezer bags so
when we want to grill burgers, one can be taken out and thawed.

Much of the day was spent programming a wifi repeater that boosts the internet signal so it can used in the shop.

For something that should have taken just a few minutes, the programming took much of the afternoon. The Chromebook wouldn't recognize the repeater so in desperation, I tried the Macbook Pro and after multiple attempts, was successful.

The signal in the shop has gone from a meager two bars to the full five.

The rest of the day was spent in the shop finishing one project and continuing work on the stickman rock band.

I'm trying all sorts of different projects. One thing about it, with such a diversity, I'm certainly not bored.

After a quick shower, I drove to Iron Mountain to  keep Sargie company on her way home tonight. Thankfully, she's off tomorrow.

I'm uncertain what will be on my agenda for Sunday. No doubt, I'll be in the garden and/or shop. Other than that, I'll leave what we do up to Sargie.

After all, a man's work is never done.

So are the tales from Pentoga Road...
