November 16, 2019 - Saturday morning
28 degrees/cloudy/calm winds
Terre Haute, Indiana
We made it in good shape to Terre Haute late Friday morning after spending the night in Bloomington, Illinois. The clock was showing 1 AM by time we checked in.
We arrived in Terre Haute around noontime.
Mom had fallen Thursday night and after experiencing some heaviness in her head on Friday morning, it was decided to take her to the hospital for a check up, CT scan, etc.
Other than being dehydrated, Mom's fine.
Since we spent most of Friday in the waiting area of the emergency room, there's not a lot to report. We did have the opportunity to talk with my sister and brother in law. That was really nice.
Sargie's still sleeping. I'm on my way over to Mom's room in the rehab center for an early morning cup of coffee. Like her son, Mom's an early riser.
Time to go see my mama!
After all, a man's work is never done.
So are the tales from Terre Haute, Indiana...
We live in the Upper Peninsula of northern Michigan near the small ghost town of Pentoga Village and the Brule River. Family, friends, hiking, wood working, gardening, fishing, photography, and of course, writing, are my passions. Join me daily as I write about our lives and this magical place we call Pentoga Road.
