Look! Out in the yard! It's a bird. It's a plane. It's SUPER CHIEF! |

And with all the agility of a hundred pound cement block, ol' Super Chief has been enjoying playing frisbee in the deep snow.
One of Chief's favorite games is to have Sargie tie his blanket around his neck, then try to get it off.
At a year and a half of age, the big pup has really matured and can only be described as a stitch. Sargie and I have done more laughing in the past twenty four hours than we have in a long time.
One of Chief's favorite games is to have Sargie tie his blanket around his neck, then try to get it off.
He's like a little kid thrashing around in a bed with clean sheets. He shakes his head, rolls around, and makes mean sounds. Finally successful, he grabs the blanket and shakes any remaining life from it then waits for Sargie to begin the process again.
So the day went.
Sargie and I took our usual drive.
We found a house that might rank high on our annual icicle list.
It's going to give those hanging from the local Catholic Church a real run for its money.
I received a piece of mail yesterday that just frosts my cookies.
Some fly by night loan company is trying to dupe people into borrowing money by saying God wants them to.
I don't pretend to be holier than thou, in fact, a long long ways from it, but God and I have a pretty good relationship and He's told me that I ought to be a good steward of our limited income and have as little debt as possible.
I hate con artists, especially those who dupe others by using His name.
Sargie is on her way to Foster City this morning for Sasha's baby shower. The Milligan sisters have a big celebration planned and will be decorating the church basement in preparation for tomorrow's big event.
I'm going for my walk then when I return, Chief and I will spend the rest of the day in the shop. Life's not all play you know!
After all, a man's work, and that of his dog's, is never done.
So are the tales from Pentoga Road...
