Hambone was snuggling with Grandma Sargie Saturday evening. One moment he was watching tv, the next, he was sound asleep.

Pentoga Road

Just like that, it's quiet in our home. The whirlwind, whom we call Hambone, went home a couple of hours ago.

Today's been a fun one. I was awakened by a four year old plopping in the middle of my belly this morning. Happy and giggly, he couldn't wait to get under the covers and snuggle. We lay in bed for over half an hour while Grandma Sargie tried to ignore us in an attempt to go back to sleep.

Mel and Macrea arrived late in the morning. We sat around and talked for a couple of hours before deciding to go to town to pick up chicken at the deli for lunch. Grady found the sample dispenser in the produce section and enjoyed taking sips of two kinds of juice.

After a huge lunch, we finished the day by visiting and catching up on life.

The kids left late this afternoon. We hated to see them go, but all, including me, either work or have school tomorrow.

I decided to go ahead and take the high school math job for Monday. Boy oh boy, it's going to be a busy week. I'll be in the high school on Monday and teaching first grade Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Both Sargie and I are off Wednesday.

Time to think about going to bed.

After all, a man's work is never done.

So are the tales from Pentoga Road...
