November 24, 2017 - Friday
40 degrees/partly cloudy/calm winds
Pentoga Road

I'll be posting yesterday's pictures of the nonstop family action later today or on Saturday's blog. For now, I'll simply say it was wonderful. The day was filled with hugs, kisses, lots of conversation, and endless supplies of love.

When it comes to family gatherings, the Mighty Milligan's set the bar about as high as possible.

Since Sargie and I, both, were suffering from food hangovers, we decided to sleep in this morning. Now, with the unexpected sunshine and warm temperatures, I'm going to head outside and finish decorating the pyramids for Christmas. It's to rain later today and I want to make hay while the sun shines. Warm, sunny, day's don't often happen after Thanksgiving and I'm not going to waste it by staying indoors.

Later today? I'll be carrying in tote after tote after tote after box of Christmas decorations for Sargie. Aunt Ila's Christmas village will soon be on the dining room table, the manger scene Sargie's dad made on the cabinet. The tree will go in the corner of the living room and other decorations will be everywhere, including the six-foot Santa who dances and sings.

With that said, I'm going to move along and get busy.

After all, a man's work is never done.

So are the tales from Pentoga Road...
