She assured me I wasn't in trouble and if I wanted to come in, Eric would have time to fill my cavity.
I dropped everything and drove to Crystal Falls. Seems the scheduled appointment after mine had cancelled so it worked out well.
Eric and Betsy filled the hole in my head and I was back home within the hour.

| The water is so clear that it appears the trailer is floating on the surface. |
Though not as action packed as the day before, I caught several large bluegills on fly rod.
While trolling across the lake, a large fish took my lure. I fought it for several minutes before he straightened the hooks on the lure and I never did see what it was.
I'm going to ride with Sargie to Iron Mountain in the morning where she'll drop me off at the airport before work. I'll have a couple of hours to wait, but I don't mind. In fact, I may just walk to the lake across the road and spend an hour enjoying the nice weather.
With any luck at all, Mom and I will be back on Pentoga Road Thursday afternoon. If she gets too tired or my eyes begin to ache and run, we'll get a hotel room somewhere along the way and drive on in on Friday. Hopefully, that won't be the case and we'll be home sooner rather than later.

| The Sweet Williams are beginning to bloom in the garden. |
It's time for bed. First, I need to throw a pair of underthings into my briefcase along with some personal goodies. Other than that, I'm good to go.
After all, a man's work is never done.
So are the tales from Pentoga Road...
