Birthday girl, Sargie, with her new Trumpy Bear

Monday morning is going to be an early one so I thought I'd write tonight.
We had a good time celebrating Sargie's birthday on Sunday. My morning began by making Sargie a German chocolate cake. I added a box of white chocolate pudding and a big dollop of sour cream to the mix and in the end, it came out okay.
We watched my baby brother, Pat, preach to his church in Fresno, California. The good Dr. Reverend did a great job of spreading the word and Sargie and I, both, were so proud of him. I imagine we'll become regular viewers of his services. Many who read this know Pat from the Sheldon Jackson days in Sitka. As my personal minister, Pat and I talk quite a bit and he's doing well.
It was time for Sargie to open her birthday presents. Her favorite, by far, was Trumpy Bear. If you watch Newsmax TV, then you already know who Trumpy Bear is.
Don't even ask about the frosting. The cake was okay. The frosting... well, it's the thought that counts.
After all, a man's work is never done.
So are the tales from Pentoga Road...
