February 11, 2019 - Monday morning
-3 degrees/cloudy skies/calm wind
Pentoga Road

No time to write this morning as I need to leave for Florence in ten minutes. This is called speed blogging.

Has anyone noticed that all the pictures posted on the site recently have one thing in common? Snow. Since I don't have time to upload any this morning, just pretend there are snapshots of snow every so often. As you can see above, we're due for another walloping beginning Tuesday morning. That's okay. Sargie's off and I have no subbing jobs on my agenda.

Sunday morning was spent in the shop where I finished the mother/child piece. I did notice after applying poly to the exterior of the arch that there are a few dark places. Evidently when it was being glued, some spilled over. No problem, I'll sand those away and reapply the finish.

Sargie and I made a quick dash into town for her Coke and made a stop for a tank of propane. Other than that, the day was spent at home.

Sargie's off today. I'll be Florence High School's English teacher. I've subbed for this teacher before and she runs a well organized classroom. Should be a good day in education.

OK, the above took six minutes to write. It's time to warm up the car and head to Florence. More tonight or tomorrow morning.

After all, a man's work is never done.

So are the tales from Pentoga Road...
