Pentoga Road
It wasn't that long ago that Pentoga Road was covered with snow and ice. Today, the flowers and plants are beautiful.
The raspberries are beginning to ripen. It doesn't appear there'll be a bumper crop this year, but enough to keep the bears happy.
After a quick trip to town, the afternoon was spent in the shop. I tried several trim designs, but decided in the end that simple is best.
I'd done all I could so I made my way to the lake early this evening without my personal guide and fishing partner. She had to work late.
I had on a large pike only to have it break my line. Otherwise, I caught a couple of bass and a few bluegills, just enough to keep it interesting.

Sargie closed the Vision Center tonight and wasn't home until almost bedtime. Thankfully, she's off tomorrow.
I want to glue the letters to the sign in the morning and apply the first coat of polyurethane. Sargie and I hope to go fishing in the afternoon.
It's time to head up those long, steep, steps. I'm getting sleepy and should I fall asleep downstairs, Sargie refuses to carry me up. Guess I'd better get going.

After all, a man's work is never done.
So are the tales from Pentoga Road...
