I keep out of the way when Sargie's shopping. She was particularly focused on Thursday.
April 11, 2018 - Friday morning
22 degrees/hazy skies/calm winds
Pentoga Road

We were hearing the word S_N_O_W included with today's forecast, but thankfully, all mention of that nonsense seems to have been dropped. About the time we think summer is getting serious about making a comeback, it hauls off and gets cold again. It's to get below freezing tonight then warm up after. In fact, a high of eighty degrees is mentioned for later next week.

Shopping in Green Bay went well yesterday. I wish I could write about all the exciting toys we purchased, and I guess I could if you think Boston Ferns are fun, but mostly, we bought basics and necessities.

It was twenty degrees warmer in Green Bay than on Pentoga Road. The thermometer was showing forty-six degrees when I washed Mom's car in the drive before leaving, but later, we basked in seventy degree warmth while south of the border (of Wisconsin.)

From Fleet Farm to Sam's, a shoe store, the mall... we pretty well saw them all.

We arrived home late Thursday afternoon. After carting all the goodies from the car, I carried in wood and got a fire going in the stove while Sargie put everything away. It was good to relax last night.

We'll be heading over to Iron Mountain later this morning to get Hambone from daycare. His birthday party is tomorrow, so we figured we'd take him today and tonight so his mommy and daddy can prepare.

I'm going to head out to the garden pretty quickly and change the filter material on the pumps in the pond while the shop is warming up. After, I'll continue on my quest to get the shop put back together.

It's ALWAYS football season in Title Town
After all, a man's work is never done.

So are the tales from Pentoga Road...
