Eenee, Meenie, Miney, Mo Where oh where does this stuff go? |
53 degrees/partly cloudy/calm winds
Pentoga Road
My wish came true. There's .9 of an inch of water in the rain gauge. The much needed rain fell nice and easy all day so that little, if any, went to waste. Dad would have called it "a million dollar rain."
Amen.
Amen.
The morning was spent in the shop. I arranged, rearranged, arranged again, moved, sorted, shoved, muttered, and pushed.
The shop is mostly finished. There are shelves to build, a tool or two to put away, possibly a cabinet to install, another light to hang, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Another few hours of work and I'll be ready to call it done... for the time being.
The rest of the day was spent cleaning in the house. Between Sargie working so many hours then helping me in the yard and garden, and me adding onto the shop and making the new strawberry bed, it was time to spiffy up.
It was rainy and there was no time like the present. The first floor was cleaned from top to bottom by the time Sargie walked in the door.
Sargie is off until next Monday. I wish she'd have this same schedule every week. We're heading to Green Bay bright and early in the morning for household supplies and other goodies.
Both of us are looking forward to the road trip. No doubt we'll talk, laugh, and sing, the entire way down and back.
After all, a man's work is never done.
So are the tales from Pentoga Road...
