The sun was shining while the snow was falling Thursday morning.
March 8, 2018 - Thursday evening
18 degrees/cloudy skies/calm winds
Pentoga Road

I'm not sure where today went. Seems like we just got out of bed this morning and now, it's almost time to climb the steps and head back that way.

I spent time in the shop this morning working on a couple of pieces. Several coats of sealer were put on the puzzle I've been working on.

Strange how it can go on white and cloudy, yet dry clear.

I was working on the scroll saw piece when Sargie called out to the shop saying she was ready to go to town.

Macrea was working at the local branch of the Wells Fargo Bank, so we met for lunch and had a good meal.

Seeing Macrea back to work, Sargie and I took our usual drive, then stopped at the local car wash.

The rest of the day was spent back out in the shop working on the scroll saw piece.

With the small angles and curves, the new sander that Sargie got me for Christmas worked great.

The piece is completely sawed, as is the base. The real work begins tomorrow with hand sanding. For that, there are no shortcuts.

Sargie opens Friday morning. I'll go for my usual walk then have several odd jobs to do around the house before I return to the shop. Seems there's always more to do than hours in the day.

After all, a man's work is never done.

So are the tales from Pentoga Road...
