First of all, I want to wish Happy Birthday to my son, Matt. He and Abraham Lincoln share the same birthdates.

We're getting excited. Matt and Jessica are expecting their third child, a boy, we're told, next month. Emerson and Bennet will have soon have a baby brother.

Happy birthday, little Mattie. Sargie and I love you!

Sunday was a nonevent. Melinda and Tom dropped Chief the Dog off late in the morning.

 

Chief's quite the character. Just a few months old, a puppy in a big body, he's got a great personality and just goofy as he can be.

Other than Sargie and I going for our usual ride, Chief kept us entertained for most of Sunday. I've come to the conclusion that he and Grady are about the same age level and have equal amounts of energy.



It's a short blog this morning. Sargie closes tonight. I'll go for my walk then plan to work in the shop most the day. Chief and I will go for a shorter walk this afternoon and try to get some of that puppy energy worked out of him.

After all, a man's work is never done.
