You think we've had enough rainfall this year?
July 14, 2017 - Friday
64 degrees/clear skies/breezy
Pentoga Road

It's going to be a short one this morning. We'll be leaving in a bit for Green Bay to join the other Mighty Milligans and attending Regan and Jessica's wedding tomorrow afternoon. Meanwhile, there'll be shopping, swimming, and lots of conversation to be had.

Since I wasn't out of bed until mid morning Thursday, it was a short and very lazy day. I worked out in the shop a bit making a block/carved name. Hopefully, the ad will go on Ebay this coming week and we'll get an occasional order.

Sargie and I went for our usual drive. Though the day was rainy and misty, we didn't let that dampen our spirits.

Back home, I blanched several heads of broccoli and got those frozen.

Sargie dusted the house and I later joined her by vacuuming and sweeping the floors and stairs. With two of us working, it didn't take long.

I was up early this morning and outside spraying some high powered mosquito killer on the lawn. Friends of our's used this product and swear by it. I hope it works. It's hard to step out the door without coming back in covered in welts.

We leave for Green Bay in less than an hour for a day of shopping, eating, gabbing, laughing, and later, swimming at the hotel. Personally, I have a list of man-things to purchase at Harbor Freight.

Time to roll.

After all, a man's work is never done.

So are the tales from Pentoga Road...
