Lambeau Field
Green Bay, Wisconsin
July 15, 2017 - Saturday
71 degrees/clear skies/calm winds
Green Bay, Wisconsin

Good morning from Title Town. We're housed at a wonderful Best Western a block away from the fabled Lambeau Field.

It's fun to be surrounded by green and gold, where many are wearing Packer's colors, and all are anticipating that this will be the year our boys win the Super Bowl.

After a pleasant ride south from Pentoga Road, we arrived in Green Bay around noon and met Sargie's sisters and their husbands at the mall. The girls had already found a couple of dresses that they thought would look good on Sargie and as Jeanne later said, "We dressed her from the inside out."

I'm not certain what that means in girl language, but Sargie is going to look like a million dollars when we attend the wedding this afternoon.

Meanwhile, the guys did their own thing. Boyd and I passed the time sitting in the food court cussing and discussing this year's lack of gardening success.

After checking in at the hotel, Sargie and I took off once again for Sam's Club, mostly to purchase household necessities. We later stopped at Hobby Lobby where I found a couple of jars of pigment to use in the shop.

Sargie and I had supper at Applebees. We enjoyed their shrimp and steak stir fry, both excellent.

Last evening was spent poolside. Most of the family were gathered around a few tables that had been hastily rearranged.

We did what we do best, laughed, talked, and ate, while the younger generation swam. It was a perfect evening.

Today's the big day. Regan and Jessica are due to be united in marriage at 1:30 this afternoon with the reception being held on the fourth level at Lambeau Field this evening.

Jessica waving goodnight to all. The bride-to-be was going to wherever it is that brides go on the night before their wedding.
The groom, Regan, bidding Jess goodnight.
I'm looking forward to today's activities and later, dancing the night away with my beautiful bride in her new dress.

After all, a man's work, regardless how enjoyable, is never done.

So are the tales from Pentoga Road...
