A dog and a clothes basket. Life doesn't get any better. |

Pentoga Road
There's little time to write this morning. Macrea and Grady are to be in Iron Mountain by 8 AM, Sargie at the Vision Center by 8:45. The top is about to blow off as everyone scurries around with baby in tow. I'll let the pictures do the talking for yesterday.

Grandpa worked in the barn for a couple of hours and of course, found his way to the garden. It's growing out of control after the big rain of last week and the current hot weather.

Hot and juicy brats and Packers football. The perfect combination. |
I talked to Andy and found that after another sonogram, they are expecting a girl rather than a boy as the doctor had originally predicted. The boys' mother and I tried and tried for a girl, but had four boys. Each of our four sons has had a girl to begin their families.
It's hard to believe that the house will once again be reduced down to boring ol' Brutus and me in less than an hour. I need to make a quick trip to town right after. I think I'll go on four-wheeler. After, there are beans to be picked and blanched and a shop to build.
After all, a man's work is never done.
So are the tales from Pentoga Road...
