Lake Michigan at its northern-most shores |

Mackinaw City, Michigan
There's no time to write this morning, only to post pictures. We had a wonderful day on Monday, leaving Brutus at the kennel, meeting the family at Ross and Holly's, and parading on, in motorcade fashion, to the Straits of Mackinac.
We spent the entire afternoon playing in the water and on the beach which lie directly outside our hotel rooms.
We'll be taking the ferry to Mackinac Island today to experience more adventures. Meanwhile, back to Monday's happenings:
Gathering in Iron Mountain |
Lunchtime |
Brother-in-law Ross and granddaugher, Aubrey Ann |
Marley's getting in on the wading action after lunch |
Ashley with Brielle and Aubrey |
Coming up to Mackinac Bridge |
No Sargie! You're suppost to PUSH the cart, not ride on it! |
Grandpa Ross, or known by his rap name in the hood and by his grandbabies, "G Pop." They're room is directly below ours. He's looking up, over the railing of the balcony. |
Leah, Derek, and the girls |
Aubrey's feeding the sea gull popcorn |
Uncle Tom, Aubrey, and Brielle |
Brent and Brielle |
Sasha and Marley building sand castles |
Pizza ordered out for Monday night's supper |
I'd write more but it's time to get serious about beginning the day... as in getting another cup of coffee.
But then I'm not surprised. After all, a man's work is never done.
So are the tales from Pentoga Road...
