The drive and barn are paved. |

Pentoga Road
There are a few tons of blacktop calling the drive and barn on Pentoga Road home this morning that weren’t there yesterday. The crew arrived Monday morning
and worked past 7 last night. It was a nonstop parade of dump trucks, rollers,
spreaders, rakes, and other equipment.
There were seven people working straight through the day.
They earned their pay.
Husband and wife, Mark and Lisa Kovach, worked in tandem during the entire job. |
With the cold temperatures forecast, Sargie and I had to
cover the garden last night. It appears everything made it through, although I’ve
not looked at anything closely yet.
I’ve got a doctor’s appointment this morning to discuss the
results of last week’s MRI. I’m eager to find out what’s going on inside my left
knee, but even more anxious to get it fixed. Half the summer’s been spent “gimpin’
around.” I’m gimped out.
It’s a short entry today. I want to look at the pictures I
took yesterday, get a few uploaded, and uncover the garden before I leave in
the next hour. After all, a man’s work is never done.
So are the tales from Pentoga Road…
