Moving one of the snowmobiles out of the barn in anticipation of a new floor this week |

What a start to the week. I awakened this morning to
discover my email had been hacked and links for a hot new raspberry diet had
been sent to everyone on my contact list… all 436 addresses. I’ve gotten those
emails from others and usually chuckle, but now that it’s me, I don’t see any
humor in it at all. Oh well, I’m sure the Provost and Chancellor of the
university will be glad to know of the raspberry diet made in a Canadian
pharmacy.
Sunday morning was spent moving the wood (for future
projects) from the barn. I didn’t realize I’d accumulated so many pieces of
2x4’s, 1x6’s, and any other potentially valuable sticks of milled lumber. After piling
it on the front end loader, moving it to the yard, and covering all with a
tarp, I’ve come to the conclusion I’m a lumber hoarder. What comes next, piles
of 2x12’s stacked in the living room?
I also used the front-end loader to move the one snowmobile
that was in the back of the barn. Sure beat sliding it out by hand!
It's beginning to look empty. The paving crew will move out the heavy benches and shelves. |
I joined Sargie in Iron Mountain during the late afternoon.
She’d been involved in meetings all day and was happy to be free of the
classroom. We spent an hour grocery shopping before joining Mr. Milligan for
supper at the VA Hospital.
I’ll ride with Sargie back to Iron Mountain this morning to
get the Blazer. After that, the barn floor will need to be cleaned of any
little pieces of scrap that I may have missed. Hopefully, this afternoon will
see me in the garden. There’ll be no lack of activities today. After all, a man’s
work is never done.
So are the tales from Pentoga Road…
Brutus isn't worth a darn when it comes to guarding my computer from hackers. |
