Pentoga Road
I'll get these pictures uploaded tonight as Sargie opens the Vision Center in the morning and it's time I once again begin my daily strolls. We'll be out of here bright and early.
Today was a good day to be a grandparent with Grady and Isabella providing the entertainment.
Whether it was racing cars, jumping in a huge bounce house, playing in the sand, racing go carts, ramming each other in bumper boats, or playing miniature golf, the two mini people did it all.
I could write about our time, but no words are needed. You'll see what I mean.

Hambone began the day by packing bags of grapes for Isabella and himself. He counted exactly twenty four grapes per bag, eight each of red, black, and green. |
We arrived at the park in Eagle River shortly after noon. The pictures tell the story.

Sargie just got a hole in one |
I'd bet my next pension check that two munchkins, plus their grandparents, sleep well tonight.
Sargie opens early. I'll go for my walk then return home to begin working up the trailer full of wood.
One of tomorrow's "musts" is to trap my newest BFF, Chuck the Chipmunk. I didn't mind him hanging around for awhile, but now, the little bugger is following me around.

Chuck crossed the line today when he walked into the garage with me. What's next, the house? Once he's caught in the live trap, Chuck will be relocated at the other end of the road.
Weather permitting, I'll hop on the backhoe tomorrow afternoon and resume digging the ramp down to the bottom of the pond.
Meanwhile, it's about time to make that long, lonesome, journey to the top of the steps and onto bed.
After all, a man's work is never done.
So are the tales from Pentoga Road...
