The life of a PE teacher.
Run Munchkins! Run like the wind!
November 1, 2018 - Thursday evening
34 degrees/clear skies/calm winds
Pentoga Road

It's a tired boy who's writing tonight. I don't know. I hate to admit it, but I may have bitten off more than I can chew when I agreed to teach three days in a row.

It's not only the teaching, but going from high school to elementary school is certainly challenging. My youngest charges today were a herd of Early Childhood Bob Kitties, four year olds. Earlier, I'd had a class of high school seniors.

At any rate, it was a good day, the kids were great, but the teacher's all done in. I walked out of the school at 3 PM, came home, plopped in my recliner and haven't moved since.

Tomorrow's Friday and twenty-four hours from now, I'll be a free man for two whole childless days!

Sargie's back to work tomorrow, but has the weekend off. Hard to believe we'll have Saturday and Sunday all to ourselves. Hopefully, the rain will hold off long enough on Saturday that I'll be able to clean the garden and rake the area where the burn pile used to be.

A side note here; the National Weather Service issued a statement today saying that October was the wettest October on record. We received rain twenty eight out of the thirty one days and it rained the last fifteen days in September. In other words, it's wet.

OK, unless it has to do with education, there's not much to talk about other than it's time for bed. The old teacher is plum tuckered out tonight.

After all, a man's work is never done.

So are the tales from Pentoga Road...
