August 24, 2015 - Monday
52 degrees/partly cloudy/very windy
Pentoga Road

It feels like fall this morning. The air is crispy, the wind is blowing, and the temperature has reached the predicted high for the day, 52 degrees.

There's nothing to write about this morning as I was sick with a 24 hour bug Sunday. I had an old fashioned bellyache, the kind I used to get as a kid, a pretty good temperature, every joint in my body hurt, I had the headache from hell, and I didn't dare stray too far from the bathroom. Sargie's back to work today. I'm going head out to the barn and continue working on the shop. I hope to have it pretty well finished in the next week to ten days. Summer is winding down, fall is almost here, and there's lots to do before snow falls.

But then are we surprised? After all, a man's work is never done.

So are the tales from Pentoga Road...
