The braces are on and we're laying the poly film.
July 19, 2014 - Saturday morning

Pentoga Road

A short one today. Sargie's working early and I'm running a day late and a dollar short... mostly, I need to pick some strawberries to have on our cereal for breakfast.

Mom helped me and we finished laying the poly film and floors yesterday. As Dad would have said, we were picking them up and layin' 'em down.

We ran to town where I purchased thirty 2x4's to begin building the walls... and sure enough, later in the afternoon, Brother Yooper Mark pulled into the drive, ready to build a wall or two.

We head to Marquette early on Sunday morning for Grady's baptism. Many of the Milligan Family will be there and it appears that even the weather will be favorable.

Time to move along. There are those strawberries to pick before breakfast.

After all, a man's work is never done.
